What it does
Explaindio 5 AI combines a business finder with the Explaindio animation studio. You search by business type and town, it checks each website for missing video and other issues, then builds a one-click sample video from that website. The sample sits on a watermarked page the owner can watch on any phone. If they want it, they pay you through your own payment link (PayPal, Stripe or another) and you deliver the full video without the sample label.
5 features from the sales page
- Business finder and website scanSearch by business type and town, up to 50 businesses per search. The scan flags sites with no video and notes issues such as no security certificate, not mobile-friendly, or no social links.
- One-click sample videosBuilds a sample explainer from the business's own website and shows it on a watermarked page with no download.
- Email writer and outreach logWrites the outreach email and logs replies with one click. You read and send each email yourself; it does not send emails for you.
- Full Explaindio studioMore than 2,200 animated templates, five Video Blueprints, whiteboard drawings, moving text and motion graphics, with free stock photos and videos in the editor.
- Cloud rendering plus a desktop appRenders on Explaindio's servers, or free locally in the included desktop app for Windows 10+, macOS 13 Ventura+ and 64-bit Linux. Interface in six languages.
Pros and cons
What we like
- One-time price with no monthly fee, and no API keys or accounts to connect
- Large template library: 2,200+ animated templates and five Video Blueprints
- Desktop app with free local rendering is included
- Commercial license included
- 30-day money-back guarantee
What to know first
- You read and send every email yourself; nothing is sent automatically
- 800 credits cover about 60 sample videos; more needs credit packs or the Pro upgrade
- One-click samples are narrated in English only, with four US English voices
- A thin website gives a thinner sample, and businesses with no website can't get one
- Search results depend on free map data, which varies by location
- Optional upgrades are offered after checkout
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if you
- Want to offer explainer videos to local businesses as a freelancer or small agency
- Like template-based animation more than filming yourself
- Are comfortable doing your own outreach, one email at a time
Skip it if you
- Want outreach that runs on autopilot
- Expect guaranteed clients or replies; the vendor makes no such promise
- Need sample narration in a language other than English
- Plan to edit mainly on a phone (editing works best on a computer)

Our take
If you want an animation studio and a structured way to show local businesses what a video could look like, Explaindio 5 AI covers both in one purchase. Go in knowing the outreach is manual and the included credits are limited. Results depend on your own work, and the vendor makes no income or client promises.
